What to Expect During Full-Arch Implant Treatment
Full-arch implant treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation and 3D imaging to assess your teeth, bone, bite, and anatomy. Your treatment plan is designed specifically for you, including the number and position of implants needed to support your new teeth.
On the day of surgery, any necessary extractions can be completed and the dental implants placed. When the implants achieve sufficient stability, a fixed temporary set of teeth can often be attached the same day. After the implants have healed, your temporary teeth are replaced with a custom final restoration designed for long-term function and a natural appearance.
Can I Get Fixed Teeth the Same Day?
In many full-arch cases, fixed temporary teeth can be placed on the same day as implant surgery. This allows you to leave with a set of teeth secured to your implants rather than a removable denture during the healing period.
Same-day fixed teeth are not appropriate for every patient. The decision depends on factors such as bone quality, implant stability, anatomy, bite, and the overall treatment plan.
